This course is intended to help the clinician avoid, identify and treat implant complications including hemorrhage, nerve damage, lack of primary stability, malposition, perforation, wound dehiscence, peri-implantitis, infection, post-operative pain and more. We will also address topics that have frequently been misunderstood in implant dentistry and rely on scientific literature rather than anecdotal evidence to determine the best course of treatment.

-Understand CBCT related challenges and the implant on dental implant treatment planning.
-Intra-operative complications & consequences of poor positioning on implant longevity.
-Comprehensive understanding – prevention of posterior manipular/maxillary complications and
etiology, and management of nerve-related issues.
-Fixed and removable prosthetic challenges.
-Nerve complications and treatment planning to help avoid both surgical and prosthetic issues
